Fabric Friday
My very first Flea Market Fancy. I started quilting after this line came out and when I heard they were going to bring it back I knew I just had to get some. So many lovely quilts made with this line.

Super Sewing Sunday
Completed my round of Around the Bend and Across the Pond. I'm not going to lie. I want this to get lost in my sewing room somewhere instead of sending it on to Krista, but I'm a good girl. I did the liberated crosses on the top and bottom. With a little help from my friend.
And there we have it folks.... the next great quilter.
Spring Break
Sometimes things don't go the way you planned, but that's Ok because the it happened wasn't so bad. I got a job offer on Tuesday to work at a nearby middle school and was absolutely thrilled. I give all the glory to God on this one. Thank you all the people praying for me and sending well wishes. I also got knocked on my butt by a sinus infection, went to the Drs office, got medicine, took medicine and ended up worse off than I was before- stopped taking meds. While I was knocked out I read the Hunger Games Series. LOVED IT!!!! Can't wait for the movie. You cannot put these books down- SO GOOD.

Sewing Sunday
This should read Sewing Saturday because this is when this was done. I was working on the doll quilt for a bit and just wasn't feeling it so I started a finished the little mini above. Could be a mug rug too I suppose.
So what do we think about this? Lots of little details need to still happen but what do you think about the layout? Keep in mind my partner loves red. Now that I see it here it's not as bad as I thought but it could just be growing on me. Help me out people. Be honest.
Now off to work for the day. Pray me feet hold out. My first 8 hour shift in many years.
Have a great rest of the weekend.

Fun Facts Friday
I won a quilt! I know! My second time winning a quilt. These things happen when you hang out with great quilting women online. There is one group that learned to quilt all together and I just love these gals. They are all warm wonderful women and I love them. Did I mention I love 'em? I love the way this one was made for the couch in our livingroom. I just love it. Did I mention I love it? Thank you my friend! This one comes from Nichol at A Desert Quilter flickr name Hardy Party of 5 .
I got A Bee block done for this month. It is super simple and so fun. I want to do this with my Sherbet Pips charms.
I've been reading my new Study bible every morning. I got it for my birthday and looking at this picture I see I REALLY need to clean my phone screen. Anyway.......this had been really good for me. Gets me started in the right way on the right track. I was reading "Self Help" type books and none surpasses the word of God. Can I get an Amen? Thank you Kerri for this cool gift.
This was what I saw out my window. Little dove all snuggled in against the cold and wind. Sweet little guy.
Last I wanted to say "Thank You" to all of you who has prayed for me. I had my interview and I am so touched by the outpouring of support and well wishes. No matter what happens I have been given a true gift. So thanks.

God is so good
Today I got to disconnect our utililies of our Virginia home. We have been in process of turning the home over to the bank. Not a path we thought we would ever have to take, nor one we wanted to take, but one we needed to take. It is such a relief not to carry this burden any longer and though there is still a little hill to climb our load is lighter.
Blogger has changed so much that I can't figure out how to change my header picture above. I cannot find the formatting button anywhere. I told many of you once that picture changed we were done.
So many times throughout this I have prayed. Giving this over to God has really kept me even. I started a new job this past week and I just continue to pray that the path I'm taking is the one God has intended for me.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.
