So Proud.

Last night was the Middle School Variety Show and Avery and her friend Lauren did themselves proud with the song "Hallelujah" from Shrek. Once I figure out how to down load the video I'll share it with you. Girls - you did good!!

Congrats to all the kids that got up in front of their family,friends and peers. That takes some bravery. Good for you all too.

Some more fun. I love walking by this little corner of the store. It cracks me up. I keep looking at the wall unit and thinking " how can I use that?" Then I say my chant " you are not here to spend money- but to make money". I say this to myself over and over. Although lately I've had lots of fun helping people spend their money and we have had lots of people that have never been in before. That is fun too. Stuff goes out everyday and stuff comes in everyday and unpacking the boxes from the model homes is like Christmas morning. I love my job.

Where else can you find treasures like this? The Consigment Solutions store. That's where! I actually stuck my head in a antique hutch we got in just to smell the old. Crazy, I know. But I'm embracing my crazy right now. We have Vera Bradley bags and tons of MODEL HOME furniture is going on the floor. Come and see us this weekend.

Great Mail Day

 The mailman brought two packages. One from Strawberrilicious - my mug rug swap partner- how awesome is that mug rug and look how perfect it goes with the pyrex my mom and dad sent me. match made in heaven I think. Thank you!!!

 Then I went out to lunch with Bethann and she gave me all this sewing stuff and a gift card to JoAnns. Whoot whoo.

 Wristlet came from my friend Staci

And owl earrings from sister in law P.J.

And to top it all off. Baby Dooley aka Ella Grace Dooley was born. I found out her name when her mom texted me from the hospital as I was walking big sister Stella. All in all a pretty great day.

I'm not getting much sewing time and I hope that I get a break within the next two week cause I would really love to finish this. The house is getting there. Just need the carpet cleaners to call me back. It's always something I guess. See the line in the carpet by the quilt? Learn from my mistake and never use the spray adhesive on or near your carpet. Pray that comes out.
