I'd love to win that box of gorgeous fabrics. I'm fairly new to quilting and don't have a stash built up yet. I've started making charity quilts, and don't have enough to try to make them without going out and buying new fabrics. And it's getting harder and harder to justify the cost. So yes, I would definitely love to win these. Not much going on with me - I'm hoping to take some leave from work and get my 5-year old granddaughter to come stay with me. I think it's time for me to try to teach her to sew. That would give the two of us a bond that nobody else in my family has. I'm the only one that sews.
ReplyDeleteWhat a generous giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI'm in the very beginning stages of designing & making a small quilt to go into a big giveaway we're having at my work. They split us into 4 teams & we're all selling tickets to raise money for local charities. Since my team, Team AWESOME!, has the local Humane Society as out charity, I thought a cat quilt would be good. :D
I'm a (brand-new) follower!
ReplyDeleteI'm just back from running errands which always seem to take longer than I expect. But now I'm ready for some serious sewing time! The box of fabric looks fabulous, thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to finish up some projects before we leave for a long weekend visiting our daughter and 3 grandchildren. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI am a follower. Yay! Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteSpring is always a crazy busy time of year! The days are longer and there is so much one wants to do in those hours... never mind the deadlines at work too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win. I've been keeping busy in the garden and of course quilting as well. I need to get my priorities straight...it should be quilting then in the garden.
ReplyDeleteAnother Aussie here and I just had to comment on your beautiful house. Would love to see the gardens, and the horses! Winter is coming here and it's becoming quite cold and most of our horses look like scruffy old carpets while their winter coats grow.
ReplyDeleteI'm having a rummage sale this weekend - made $25 today - lol! I'm having to post as Anonymous as Bloger is still acting goofy - wish they'd get it fixed!!!!! Annmarie (tegens@charter.net)
ReplyDeleteI started 2 different jobs on Monday. Learning 2 different computer systems. UGH! I DID get to sew on Thursday for my guild block exchange. Quilts of Valor day is still over a week away. I'm working on 2 quilt tops for that. Can you say busy?!? Better than being bored!
ReplyDeleteI will feature your giveaway on our May 29th blog at www.sewhowsthis.blogspot.com. Looks like a cool box-o-fabric!!!! :-)

ReplyDeleteWhat's going on? Three quilts at once. Four, if you count DD's project. And yardwork and housework, of course!
ReplyDeleteJust finished talking to my co-worker about possibly leaving my job and I started crying, only because he trained me and I felt bad. He was cool and said well you have to do what makes you happy not worry about what I think or feel :-)
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm evidently fighting a stomach bug, and so far, I'm losing the battle. Not a great day for me. But I've been relatively healthy for a while, so I shouldn't complain.
ReplyDeleteI'm having a never-ending fight with Blogger, so can't subscribe now. If you pick my name for this entry and I don't qualify, I'm going to scream! So please don't eliminate me. Please?!@!! I'll try to remember to come back and subscribe if Blogger ever comes back up.
ReplyDeleteYour fabrics look like heaven to me! I'm trying to get away from everything muted and subtle, but my budget says No right now :).
ReplyDeleteWhat am I doing? Working with older fabrics, making medallion lap quilts in the liberated style, which is well suited to using up fabrics and is fun too. Thanks very much.
