It's that time again.

Oh my goodness time is flying by me. I have been surrounded with boxes- packing, purging and donating trying to get my leesburg home to fit into my albuquerque home. I'm loving it. Simple life. I feel the weight lifting from my shoulders. This week will be more packing and more saying goodbye to friends ( that is not my favorite at all) So while I have my head in the boxes it is giveaway time for you. Another box of fabric. Lots of yardage. I'm sure some lucky winner would put this to great use.
 So here is the deal.
1. leave me a comment and tell me what your summer plans are
2. become a follower of the blog or tell me you already are:)
3. blog about this giveaway on your blog

I will annouce the winner on June 21st. The summer solstice.
Good luck and thanks for the distraction.

  2. Seems every where I look - people are moving! Actually this summer I am looking at new housing. I need something smaller and on one-level.

  3. My biggest summer plan has been to get my raised bed garden cleaned out and completely filled with flowers and veggies. I'm 3/4 of the way done and working thru crazy heat from May and June that usually doesn't come till July! Also, sticking around until my son finishes his online P.E. course so he can graduate!

  6. We have a summer beach trip planned and a fall mountains trip. Until then I hope to do lots of sewing! That box of fabric would be wonderful to include in my plans! Your drawing is on my 25th wedding anniversary so I'm hoping it will be a lucky day for me. Twenty five years ago June 21st was a great and lucky day as I gained a fabulous husband!

  20. I'm going to have my 5-year old granddaughter during some of the summer. I hope I can instill the love of sewing/quilting to her. I'm going to let her pick out fabrics, and try sewing things together at the machine while I hover and make sure she doesn't hurt herself (or my machine). Nobody else in the family is a sewer/quilter, and it would be nice if she has the "love" of sewing/quilting that I have.

  37. You're going to love Albuquerque, it's so wide-open after VA and NY! I'm not travelling this summer (saving up for SLC in the fall) but we'll probably go camping for a weekend, do some day trips, and I'm running two teen book discussions at the local library too. I'd like to revamp my sewing area but I suspect I'd have to take several days off work to do it, maybe I should just start househunting!

  44. We did that moving and paring last year, it is a fabulous experience in some ways to be this side of the move. I dont regret parting with any "thing" and a great deal just had to go in other directions, it really is a great feeling to be "lighter" and easier but the separation took me time to adjust to also. It really is like transferring a plant into a bigger pot...the old dirt has to go and the roots aren't thrilled about being disturbed but there is so much to look forward to in the way of growth. Ooh, I wonder what colour your blossoms will be?

  53. Ah summer, it's finally here for us on the West Coast. Plans are to move my sewing room into the loft of the shop, walls are insulated, sheetrocked & now have the first coat of paint. Not sure I am liking the yellow that I thought would be more cream. Headed back to the store to find the cream I really want for the second coat.
Once moved & organized, need to finish the king string quilt for our bed.
Good luck on your move closer& thanks for the chance to add to my stash.
