The kids are off school today. Yesterday I got to be part of a wonderful tribute to our veterans. There were stories that were told about friends, family and servicemen and how that shaped the people they became. In the right corner is one of the veterans standing as the girls sang to them.
The Jazz band played some great jazz music that got the crowd going.
Overall a wonderful tribute to say thanks. So glad I got to witness it.Now I've got to pack for the mountains. 30 teenage girls, wilderness, and bear country- Say a prayer.
