One of the family's favorite things to do is go down to the park in our community. They play some ball or skate on rollerblades or take pictures (that would be me) We had some pretty major rain over this past weekend and didn't really think anything of it until we came down here and saw what that meant. The creek that feeds into the river had come up at least 20 ft and covered the dock, picnic area, and swings. That is pretty impressive.
This is a view of the Potomac and you can see it is at it's banks. I've never seen it this high and the waters were cooking (moving fast).
That meant for lots of mud.
